Tech Specs

Shifta conveyor belts from Mace Industries are the ultimate handling solution when it comes to shifting aggregates and rubble from one part of site to another, especially over uneven terrain. They are efficient at carrying large amounts of material with a maximum speed of 28 metres per minute.

They are quick and easy to set up, allowing you to begin work on site with minimal delays. Conveyors are made from lightweight aluminium and fitted with a tough, textured rubber belt that carries the material. Solid wheels are fitted for portability.

They can be loaded by a Mini Excavator, Micro Excavator, or loaded by hand with shovels. At point of loading, a hopper directs material onto the belt which helps prevent buildup of waste around the base of the machine.

Compared to large conveyor belts used in demolition works, these mini conveyor belts are small and suitable for residential projects.

Features

  • Lengths: 3.2m, 4.4m, and 5.4m at widths of 300mm, and lengths of 3m, 4m and 5m at a width of 400mm
  • Supply power to the first conveyor and all other units link up in series (you can daisy chain them)
  • Effectively move up to 20 tons in an hour, every hour!
  • In-built belt scraper to prevent build up of muck on the rubber conveyer belt.
  • Detachable hopper funnels waste onto the conveyer belt and minimises seepage at the point of loading.
  • Portable
  • Braked wheels
  • Maximum payload of 150kg - 200kg depending on model
  • Can accept dirt, soil, building rubble, general site waste. Not suitable for wet concrete.

Applications

Conveyors are best suited for removing excavated material in confined spaces where site dumpers are not appropriate and the travel distance isn't significant. As an example, they are very popular in basement excavations in London where there is very little space for machinery yet lots of soil and rubble needs to be moved from basements to the side of residential streets.

If you need to move material over a longer distance or around corners, conveyors can easily be daisy-chained where each conveyor belt drops material onto another.
