Abrasive Chop Saws, also known as portable cut-off saws, are ideal machines for quick and easy metal cutting. They are fitted with abrasive blades that spin at a very high RPM to effectively cut ferrous materials such as metal pipes.

The 'No load RPM' capacity of the blade used must at least match or exceed 3800 RPM.

Features
  • Features an adjustable guide plate that can be set at different angles to the blade, allowing the user to make angled cuts in the material
  • Safety guard fitted around the blade to minimise risk of injury
  • Adjustable cutting angle: 45°- 90°
  • For portability, the head of the tool locks down, and the handle can then be used to carry the machine around.
Applications

Abrasive Chop Saws are used in metal fabrication , as well as installation of metal stud partitions. They are also used to cut metal pipework in the M&E sector.


Abrasive Wheels or PDCOS qualification required to use this equipment.
