Metal Chop Saws are designed to cut mild steel and stainless steel materials such as pipes and channels. They come fitted with a carbide tipped TCT blade.
The cutting angle may be adjusted by loosening the vice stop and securing it at the desired angle.
For optimum cutting performance, let the blade do the work and do not exert excess pressure on the handle. The manufacturer recommends not using any material less than 2mm thick.
Used to cut mild steel and stainless steel only, and should not be used to cut aluminium, wood, plastics etc.
When cutting long pieces of material, you may like to support either end of the material with blocks of non-flammable material to ensure it remains flat.
